Barbara Marie Brown (born July 21, 1953 in Denver , Colorado ) is a former American figure skater .
With her partner Doug Berndt Brown was able to win the junior title at the US championships in 1970 . In the following two years they each came third in the seniors. In both years they also took part in the figure skating world championships and finished 11th and 14th. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo Brown and Berndt reached 12th place.
Between 1972 and 1977 Brown participated in the ice show Holiday on Ice .
After finishing her active career, Brown worked as a trainer, including for Sasha Cohen , who won the Olympic silver medal in 2006.
