Barbara Klingbacher

Barbara Klingbacher (* 1971 ) is a Swiss journalist .

Life

Klingbacher studied theater and film studies in Bern and Zurich.

She has been working as an editor for the monthly magazine “ NZZ Folio ” since 2010 , first as a freelancer, since 2013 as a permanent editor. Before that, Klingbacher worked as a freelance journalist and was a travel editor and report manager for the magazine “ annabelle ”. The journalist won the Zurich Journalist Prize 2018 and the Bernd Tönnies Prize for animal welfare in livestock husbandry with her report “The Last Gang” on her self-experiment at killing animals for consumption .
