Barbara Krott

Barbara Elisabeth Krott (* before 1976 in Walsum ) is a German theater director, set and costume designer.

After graduating from high school, Krott completed an internship at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and studied production design and costume at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . This was followed by permanent engagements in drama and music theater, including at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and the Wuppertaler Bühnen . In 1976, Barbara Krott became a freelancer and has since taken over equipment for the Schillertheater Berlin , the Alte Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , the Oper Halle, the Volkstheater Rostock , the Landestheater Tübingen , the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , the bremer shakespeare company and the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel . She also worked as an outfitter for the TV broadcasts of the WDR . In 1991 she founded the intercultural Wupper-Theater in Wuppertal , which she has since directed .
