Barbara Stromberger

Barbara Stromberger (born December 13, 1948 in Gmünd in Carinthia ) is an Austrian songwriter and writer who mainly publishes songs and poems.

life and work

Barbara Stromberger was born in Gmünd in the Austrian state of Carinthia in 1948 . She herself developed her talent for music and for writing lyrics and poems at an early age. Barbara Stromberger has published numerous records since 1971, most recently “Ruhig Blut” (1997), “Knack” (1998), “Homma nit” (2004) and “Alte Haut” (2007).

In 1999 her book Knacktexte was published . In 2001 she published the band Letters Without Envelope & Lyrics & Poems . In 2007 her short stories Bizarre Truth were published by Hermagoras Verlag in Klagenfurt .

She maintains regular contact with the audience through concerts, readings and workshops. As an author, she also reads from her works in the context of cultural weeks and cultural events. Barbara Stromberger lives in Vienna today .
