Idriss "Driss" Barid (born December 12, 1986 ) is a Moroccan athlete who specializes in hammer throwing.

He finished seventh at the 2007 Pan-Arab Games . At the 2008 African Championships he was fourth. In 2009 Barid was sixth in the Francophonie Games . In the same year he also reached tenth place at the Mediterranean Games . At the 2010 African Championships , he finished fifth. At the 2012 African Championships , he was eliminated without a valid attempt. At the 2013 Francophonie Games , he finished sixth. He also won a bronze medal at the 2014 African Championships .

His personal best is 70.73 meters, which he achieved in Rabat in June 2013 . That is the Moroccan record.

In 2019, Barid tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol and was then banned for four years.
