The Barmstedter Zeitung is a regional daily newspaper founded in 1879 for the Barmstedt area . It is published by A. Beig Druckerei und Verlag GmbH & Co. KG . The number of copies sold is no longer shown individually. It was last at just over 2000 copies.
The daily newspaper is divided into four books: Local (reporting from the municipalities in the Pinneberg district and Ellerau (Bad Segeberg)), regional (Pinneberg district, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg), national (Germany and the world) and miscellaneous.
Gerrit Bastian Mathiesen and Jan Schönstedt have been the editorial directors since July 1, 2016. You are responsible for all of the media company's products, i. H. also the Pinneberger Tageblatt , Quickborner Tageblatt , Schenefelder Tageblatt , Wedel-Schulauer Tageblatt , Elmshorner Nachrichten , Uetersener Nachrichten as well as the Sunday and weekly newspapers and the digital media.
The editors are Werner F. Ebke and the publisher Jan Dirk Elstermann.
The homepage has existed since 1999. The daily newspaper has been available as an ePaper since December 2009 . The daily newspaper has been available as an app for iPhone and iPad since December 2012 .
history
On April 5, 1879, Anton Füßlein published the first edition of the Barmstedter Zeitung. Under the title was the sub-line "Local and advertisement sheet for Barmstedt, Hörnerkirchen, Kaltenkirchen and Quickborn". In 1884 Füßlein sold the business to the printer August Christen, who sold the newspaper to Johannes Prange in 1905. The Barmstedter Zeitung remained in the family until January 1, 2001. Since then it has belonged to the A. Beig publishing house .
Edition
The circulation of the Barmstedter Zeitung was 2,143 copies in 2011, the time of the last separate report to the IVW . This corresponds to an increase of 55 copies or 3 percent compared to 1998. Since then, the circulation has only been reported together with the Elmshorner Nachrichten .
