history

The place name could be derived from the name of the old Feldmark Stuke ( Slavic Stok for confluence ). The noble family Stuke , which died out in the 15th century, can also be named after the town . In the middle of the 14th century, Magna and Parva Stuke ( large and small pieces ) are mentioned in documents in connection with the ducal vassals Henning Knop, Johann Berchteheile and Erich and Werner Bonsack. Soon afterwards, the Knop family, who also acquired Klein and Groß Trebbow, gained influence here and in the surrounding area. In 1418 Heinrich Raben bought the property from Klaus von Oertzen , the husband of heir daughter Margaretha von Knop. The name of the seat in Groß-Stück changed into Raben-Stück . Since the transfer to the Count of Schmettau in 1720, Grafen-Stück was the name of the place. With the acquisition of the property by District Administrator Magnus Friedrich von Barner in 1775, the name Barner-Stück came up.

The von Barner family owned the property in Barner Stück until 1945. Hans Metelmann was a landlord from 1922 to 1945. The manor house was demolished after the Second World War.

On July 1, 1950, Barner piece was incorporated into the parish of Kirch piece.
