Baron Mauley was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of England .

The family seat of the barons was Mulgrave Castle in Yorkshire .

Award

The title was awarded to Peter Mauley on June 23, 1295 , when he was appointed to the royal parliament by Writ of Summons . The title fell on the death of his great-great-great-grandson, the 5th baron , on September 6, 1415 in Abeyance between his two daughters.
