Barre Center is a hamlet in the Town of Barre in Orleans County , New York , in the United States .

The Barre Center is a street village that extends essentially along County Road 98 and has its center at the highest point of a hill. Not far from there is the Barre Center Presbyterian Church, and Barre Town Park is a few hundred meters further north.

The Skinner Tinkham House was in the 2004 National Register of Historic Places added.
