Barret Swatek

Barret Swatek (born March 3, 1977 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is an American actress .

Career

Swatek was born in 1977 to Bill and Lana Swatek. Swatek began figure skating when he was five. Up to the age of twelve she took part in many competitions in this sport. After that, however, she sang and acted mainly in the local Birmingham theater. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in film .

Swatek made her television debut in 1997 on the children's show Power Ranger Turbo , before her breakthrough as an actress in the film On Edge , where she played the figure skater Veda Tilman . In Germany, however, she is best known as Cheryl in the television series Eine himmlische Familie .
