Barry Besanko

Barry Besanko (born August 15, 1956 ) is a retired Australian sprinter and Australian football player .

At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 in Düsseldorf he was seventh with the oceanic team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1979 in Montreal he was eighth over 200 m and again seventh with the oceanic 4 x 100 meter relay.

After his athletics career, he played for Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League in 1980 .
