The Barry Jones Bay is a side bay of Prydz Bay on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is located between the Priddy Promontory and the Stornes peninsula in the Larsemann Hills .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988 after the Australian politician Barry Owen Jones (* 1932), whose portfolio as Australian Science Minister from 1983 to 1990 included all matters relating to Antarctica .
