Bartolomeo Ramenghi (* 1484 in Bagnacavallo , † 1542 in Bologna ), called il Bagnacavallo , was an Italian painter .

He was a pupil of Francesco Francia , then an imitator of Raphael , under whom he is said to have worked as an assistant after Giorgio Vasari in Rome. In his most mature works, however, he reveals more of the influence of the Dosso Dossi .
