The Barystraße is a street in the Munich district Obermenzing , which was built around the 1897th It was named after the doctor and opera singer Alfred von Bary (1873-1926).

history

The street originally called Kleiststraße connects Alte Allee with Bassermannstraße. It was laid out around 1897 up to the confluence with Mark-Twain-Straße . It was part of the expansion planning for the Pasing II villa colony between Alter Allee and Pippinger Strasse , which has not yet been implemented. The development with villas at the beginning of the street took place until the First World War , the extension to Bassermannstraße took place after the Second World War . The closed development was completed in 2015.
