The Alte Allee is an avenue in the Munich districts of Pasing and Obermenzing , which was laid out around 1897.
history
Originally Langwieder street called Avenue is the main access road to the villa colony Pasing II , after the model of the garden city was built. The Alte Allee begins at the Pippingerstrasse where it forms a triangular space, and leads to the Bergsonstraße. The Obermenzing district begins after the confluence with Lützowstrasse .
The avenue runs parallel to the Munich – Augsburg railway line . In the first decades, up to the confluence of Gustav-Meyrink-Straße, there was a loose development with villas .
The Alte Allee forms the second longitudinal line of the ladder-shaped street network of the colony alongside Marschnerstrasse . The continuation of the road to the north took place in the 1930s and mostly after the Second World War . By Linden lined avenue has a broken through houses and apartment buildings historic buildings, as part of the ensemble Villenkolonie Pasing II under monument stands.
