Basatanya is to a small settlement, Hungarian community Folyás heard in the county Hajdúnánás in Hajdú-Bihar is located.

Geographical location

Basatanya is just under four kilometers northwest of the municipality of Folyás, a good five kilometers southwest of the city of Polgár , on the Király-ér river . The Tisza flows about three kilometers west of the settlement .

Notoriety

The place achieved fame mainly through the discovery of a burial ground of the Tiszapolgár culture and is often referred to as Tiszapolgár-Basatanya in this context .
