The 2004 Women's Baseball World Cup was the first edition of this women's baseball competition and took place from July 30th to August 8th, 2004 in Edmonton . The game was played in the "Telus Field". A total of five teams took part in the tournament, although India and Bulgaria had registered and withdrew their participation before the start of the World Cup.

The team won the title from the United States .
