history

In 1947 the association representing the city's Albanian minority was founded. The club has been playing in the Prva League since 2003 . In the first season in the upper house managed an eighth place, 2004/05 the club took sixth place. The most successful season in the club's history was crowned with victory in the Macedonian Cup. Madzari Solidarnost Skopje were beaten 2-1 in the final, which allowed them to qualify for the UEFA Cup .

In the first qualifying round of the 05/06 UEFA Cup Bashkimi had to play against the Bosnian representative NK Žepče . A 0-0 home game, which was later declared a 3-0 win due to the use of an ineligible player on the part of Žepče and a 1-1 draw in the second leg was enough to advance to the next round. In the second qualifying round, Bashkimi was outclassed by Israeli runner-up Maccabi Petach-Tikva with 0: 5 and 0: 6.

The sixth place in the championship could also be repeated in the following season.

Just two days before the 2008/09 season , the club withdrew for financial reasons. Several efforts have been made to merge with FK Milano . The owners of both clubs only wanted to invest in one team. Despite the fact that Bashkimi had a larger tradition and fan base, the club was on the verge of collapse. In 2011 a successor association was launched.
