Società Sportiva Basket Napoli was an Italian basketball club based in Naples , Italy . The games were played in the PalaBarbuto, which offers 5,500 seats.
history
Before the season 1999/2000 the team under the name Serapide Pozzuoli played in Serie A . Under Lubrano as president, the team then moved to Naples . Then Lubrano sold the team to Mario Maione. In the 2004/2005 season the team took part in the Eurocup and won the Italian basketball cup in 2006 . In 2008, due to financial irregularities, the club was not given a license for Serie A. It was forced to relegate to Serie C. In January 2010, the club officially dissolved.
Azzurro Napoli Basket 2013 , founded in 2013, can be seen as the successor club .
