Bastian Brinkmann

Bastian Brinkmann (* 1988 in North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German journalist and author .

Life and work

Bastian Brinkmann was born in North Rhine-Westphalia and grew up near Berlin . He did his community service in Brussels . He attended the Cologne School of Journalism and studied economics and political science at the University of Cologne and in South Korea. Since January 2012 he has been editor for Süddeutsche.de, the online version of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . He worked on investigative research on offshore leaks about dubious business in tax havens and "Secret War" about Germany's role in the US war on terror.
