The house at Heiligegeiststraße 22 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the south side of Heiligegeiststraße. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The house at Heiligegeiststrasse 20, 21 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the east and Heiligegeiststrasse 23 to the west.

Architecture and history

The two-story half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1700. On the upper floor there are decorations typical of the construction period, including pyramid beam heads . The compartments are provided with decorative lining. There is also an inscription and a monogram referring to the builder . The basement of the building was renovated in a massive construction around 1900. In 1911 a shop was built on the ground floor.
