It is located in the urban area south of the Quedlinburg market square. To the west is the also listed building at Heiligegeiststraße 4 .
Architecture and history
The residential and commercial building was built in 1902 for the engineer Freitag . In the Quedlinburg monument register it is registered as a residential and commercial building. The two lower floors were built in massive construction. Above that there is a floor including a gable in historicizing half-timbered construction , which has various decorative half-timbered forms. It is partly colored or gold-plated. The use of the half-timbered elements took place at the urging of the municipal building authority. There is an inscription on the threshold of the building.
