The house Heiligegeiststrasse 3 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the southern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town. In the Quedlinburg monument register it is registered as a residential and commercial building.

Architecture and history

The house was built in 1904 for Franz Jenrich by the architect Max Schneck . The Franz Jenrich jewelry store is still located on the ground floor today (as of 2012). The well-preserved shop facade with echoes of Art Nouveau is remarkable . In the design of the upper floors, forms from Gothic and Renaissance are cited in modified form on the portico and curtain arches . The use of half-timbered elements in the upper area took place at the urging of the municipal building authority.
