The house at Heiligegeiststraße 27 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the south side of Heiligegeiststraße. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the east is the listed building at Heiligegeiststrasse 26 , to the west by the house at Heiligegeiststrasse 28 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1685, according to another statement in 1686 for a farming citizen . A mezzanine is inserted on the ground floor . There is also a small shop and a large gate passage that has been preserved in its original design. The threshold of the building is inscribed. The half-timbered structure on the upper floor is decorated with St. Andrew's crosses and diamonds . At the roof access there is a baroque carving depicting a deer framed by floral motifs .
