Bastian Fuchs (church musician)

Bastian Fuchs (* 1994 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz ) is a German church musician .

Life

Bastian Fuchs started playing the organ at the age of 8. After attending the Rebdorf boys' secondary school in Eichstätt , he studied church music at the University of Catholic Church Music and Music Education in Regensburg from 2010 to 2016 . In 2016 he began studying for a Master of Arts in organ / organ improvisation at the Nuremberg University of Music . In mid-2016 he became the cathedral music assistant at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau . In November 2016 he became assistant to the cathedral music director at Eichstätter Cathedral . After Christian Heiß left , he led the Eichstätter cathedral choirs from September 2019 to January 2020.

Fuchs composed the organ work Lobgesang .
