Bastian Rosenau

Bastian Rosenau (* 1980 in Stuttgart ) is a German politician and since February 1, 2018 District Administrator of the Enzkreis .

Life

Rosenau did his Abitur at the Hebel-Gymnasium in Pforzheim. After his community service at the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Pforzheim , he studied and completed his studies with a degree in administrative management.

From November 2005 to May 2007 he was construction and main office manager of the Engelsbrand community . He left this position after he was elected Mayor of Engelsbrand in March 2007 . He took office as mayor on May 16, 2007. At that time, at the age of 26, he was the youngest mayor of Baden-Württemberg . Rosenau was confirmed in office in February 2015. In December 2017, he was elected district administrator by the Enzkreis district council in the first ballot with 36 out of 54 votes, replacing Karl Röckinger . As a result, Rosenau resigned as mayor in January 2018. He took office as district administrator on February 1, 2018.

Rosenau is married and has four children. He belongs to the New Apostolic Church .
