The Bates Glacier is a small glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It flows from the west flank of Mount Queensland in the Deep Freeze Range in a northerly direction into the west flank of the Campbell Glacier immediately north of Mills Peak .
The northern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1965-1966) named it after their field research assistant D. R. Bates.
