The Mills peak is 1,420 m high and pointed mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Deep Freeze Range it rises on the west flank of the Campbell Glacier between Mount Queensland and the confluence of the Bates Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Peter J. Mills, geologist at McMurdo Station between 1965 and 1966.
