Bath & Body Works is a US perfumery chain owned by Limited Brands .
The company was founded in 1990 by Leslie Wexner who opened the first store in Boston . The chain had 1,587 stores in 2012, most of which are in the United States. After Limited Brands took over the Canadian company La Senza in 2008, Bath & Body Works opened six stores in Canada . After that, the chain also opened stores in Kuwait and other countries in the Middle East .
Bath & Body Works sells hygiene and perfumery products for men and women. Lotions, soaps, perfumes, lipsticks and similar cosmetics are sold under the trademarks "Signature Collection", "CO Bigelow", "Slatkin" and "True Blue Spa". In addition, products from Victoria's Secret , which is also owned by Limited Brands, are offered.
