The Batofar is a former lightship of the Commissioners of Irish Lights . The ship has been in Paris since 1999 and serves as a club with a restaurant. It has a capacity of 300 people.

The ship was built by the British shipyard Philip and Son in Dartmouth under the name Osprey and commissioned in 1955. It served as a lightship off the Irish coast until 1975. In May 1975 it was sold to New Ross Harbor Commissioners and was used as a depot ship in the port of New Ross until 1997 . In March 1998 it was sold to France. There it has served as a restaurant and party ship on the Seine in the 13th arrondissement of Paris since 1999 .

In Batofar DJ sets and live concerts of electronic music held occasionally rock concerts or artistic performances. A café-restaurant is set up on the deck.
