The Battalion of Saints are an American hardcore band from San Diego , California that was formed in 1980.

history

Your band manager was Marc Rude , who wrote numerous concert flyers and record covers a. a. for bands like The Misfits or The Offspring . After a few line-up changes, the band broke up in 1985. Singer George Anthony brought the band back to life in 1995 with the support of Terry "Tezz" Roberts (veteran of British punk bands such as Discharge , Broken Bones and UK Subs ). You found with Taang! Records a new label that re-released most of the old tracks on the Death-R-Us CD .

The band still performs live and plays mostly in Southern California. The only remaining original member is singer George Anthony, the only other permanent member of the band is drummer Tino Valpa, who is also the singer in the Dover , New Hampshire punk band The Cryptics. Anthony and Valpa started a European tour in 2018 with guest musicians.
