BYO records
BYO Records is an independent label based in Los Angeles . It was founded in 1982 by Shawn Stern and his brother Mark Stern, who were playing in Youth Brigade at the time. The third brother Adam Stern, who also played in Youth Brigade, does not work actively with BYO. BYO stands for Better Youth Organization , their focus is the distribution of punk rock . She has released records from 7 Seconds , Agression , Clit 45 , Leatherface , SNFU , The Briefs and The Unseen, among others .
In 1991 the Neoswing band's debut album Royal Crown Revue was released on BYO Records. At this point, Mark and Adam Stern were playing in this band themselves.
