Battle Cry Records is a record label founded in 2004 and based in Mühlacker .
It was founded as a successor to Iron Glory Records.
history
After Andreas Preisig and the two other co-founders of Iron Glory Records parted ways, Andreas Preisig founded the label Battle Cry Records in 2004. He decided on a new label because in his eyes it would not have been right to continue the joint label Iron Glory Records alone.
But nothing has changed in terms of the musical direction. Andreas and his label still stand for traditional hard rock and heavy metal .
In 2014 the label re-released two albums together with GOM Records . On the one hand the album On the Run by Lawlessness, on the other hand the compilation The EPs 84.85… and More - 30th Anniversary Special Edition by Arrow.
Field of activity
The label specializes in traditional metal from the 80s and early 90s. Battle Cry Records focuses on reissuing CDs by bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
