action
In 1987 Dr. Ben Carson goes to Germany , where he meets a couple, Peter and Augusta Rausch, whose twins have grown together at the back of their heads. The plot jumps back to 1961, when an eleven-year-old Carson had problems at school. He is undisciplined and reads little. The mother raises him severely and he improves. After a fight, he seeks support from God and asks for less temperament.
After hard work, Ben makes it to the elite Yale University , where he meets Candy, whom he later marries. He graduated in medicine with a focus on neurosurgery. He is accepted at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. There he is faced with a difficult decision: he can save someone's life or kill him with the operation. Carson saves him. The plot jumps back again, showing how he successfully separates the Siamese twins in a 22 hour operation. The film ends with a press conference by Carson.
