Ingo Dahm

Ingo Dahm (born November 18, 1974 in Berlin ) is a German engineer and entrepreneur . Between September 2014 and August 2015 he was Rector of the International University Bad Honnef Bonn (IUBH).

Life

After graduating from high school in Hagen, Dahm studied electrical engineering at the University of Dortmund from 1995 to 2000 . He is the inventor of a basic patent for mobile ticketing and was a founder and member of the management of Teltix GmbH.

In 2005 he was awarded a Dr.-Ing. In Dortmund with his work on signal space detection and its applications under Uwe Schwiegelshohn (* 1958) . PhD .

Until 2010 he was ADE Lead at Microsoft Germany, responsible for science, research, education and the startup sector and held positions on advisory boards at the Technical University of Munich , LMU Munich , University of Augsburg and the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences .

He then moved to Deutsche Telekom in Bonn, where he took on similar responsibilities internationally and represented the company on the Foundation Board of Trustees of the Goethe University in Frankfurt . He also worked as an expert for the Accreditation Council and FIBAA .

2014 he received a reputation as a Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the International University (IUBH). His main areas of work are innovation strategy, idea evaluation and product development, with a special focus on data-driven processes.

Dahm now works as an innovation consultant and early stage promoter . He supports ambitious startups in the fields of education , fitness , nutrition and healthcare through the BAND accredited capacura GmbH. He works on advisory boards for German and international digital companies and is listed as a keynote speaker in several agencies.

Offices and functions

From 2014 to 2015 Dahm was Rector and Dean of IUBH Campus Studies at the International University Bad Honnef.

In 2012, FIBAA appointed him to the FK-Zert certification committee.

Honors

In 2003 Dahm and his team took first place in the German "Microsoft Imagine Cup"

In 2004 and 2005 his team won the Robocup World Championship

In 2007 he received the WAP Award

In 2016 he was one of the winners of the LinkedIn Skill Squad
