The Bauernsee is a 10.2 hectare body of water in Dobbrikow , a district of the Nuthe-Urstromtal municipality in the Teltow-Fläming district .
location
The lake is part of the Luckenwalder Heide , a moraine that of Sandern is covered. On this plate there is a depression in which numerous lakes have formed. It stretches from Siethener lake in Ludwigsfelde to the four lakes on the district of Dobbrikow. The lake is mainly from Vordersee over the Dobbrikower Seegraben (this inflow was interrupted) and from the bar Staffelsee (the Step Elsee but silted up and only a marsh and nature reserve) fed by an unnamed ditch and drained via the Seegraben in the Pfefferfließ . The Bauernsee is located southwest of the town center. To the west, Nettgendorfer Straße runs along the water in a southerly direction from the village.
Condition and use
The lake has suffered from a lack of water since the beginning of the 21st century. Although there is a connection to the higher lake at the front via the Dobbrikower Seegraben, this lake also has too little water. Considerations of introducing additional water were discarded for reasons of cost. Fishing is allowed with a fishing license.
