The Vorderesee is a 12.3 hectare body of water in Dobbrikow , a district of the Nuthe-Urstromtal municipality in the Teltow-Fläming district .

The lake is part of the Luckenwalder Heide , a moraine that of Sandern is covered. On this plate there is a depression in which numerous lakes have formed. It stretches from Siethener lake in Ludwigsfelde to the four lakes on the district of Dobbrikow. The lake is mainly fed by groundwater , but also has a connection to the higher Hintersee to the west . It drains to the southeast via the Dobbrikower Seegraben into the Bauernsee . From there there is a connection to the Pfefferfließ , a right tributary of the Nieplitz .

The bathing water quality was rated as “excellent” from 2009 to 2017. There is a 10 meter long beach by the lake. There is a stock of European catfish for anglers .
