Bayan Sulu ( Kazakh Баян Сұлу , Russian Баян Сулу ) is one of the largest confectionery manufacturers in Kazakhstan , based in Qostanai . Bayan Sulu's products mainly include chocolate , pralines and sweets, as well as biscuits . It is listed on the Kazakh Stock Exchange .

Around 1,500 people are employed at Bayan Sulu. The confectionery manufacturer's turnover in the 2009 financial year was around 12.8 billion tenge ; the following year it rose to 14.4 billion tenge.

history

The company was founded in 1974 as the Qostanai Confectionery Factory. First, the production of caramel began. In March 1975 the production of biscuits started . In July of the same year, after purchasing new equipment, chocolate production began. In the following five years, numerous other sweets were added to the range .

In several pastry competitions in which Bayan Sulu participated, the company was awarded the Soviet Order of the Red Banner of Labor .

In September 1993, the Qostanai confectionery factory was reorganized into an open joint stock company called Bayan Sulu. In 1996 the production was equipped with computer technology. In the following decade, the production system was gradually renewed and expanded.

Today there are more than 200 different products in the Bayan Sulu range. Since March 2004 Trajber Vitaly Andreevich has been President of the company.

In January 2010, Bayan Sulu changed its logo . The aim was to increase the attractiveness of the company's own products with a more modern and dynamic logo.

Products

Bayan Sulu has a wide range of sweets of all kinds. The company makes products from caramel , such as caramel candies . There are also sweets of different types and dragees in the range.

Bayan Sulu also makes different types of chocolate , including milk chocolate and dark chocolate . In addition to Pastila , a well-known Russian sweet made from dried fruit puree, the company's products also include various types of biscuits and wafers .
