action
The 27-year-old Moll still lives at home and feels constricted in the small island community. Nevertheless, she feels obliged to stay in her parents' home. After visiting a disco, she is harassed by a man, whereupon the strange Pascal comes to her aid. Moll is immediately drawn to the free-spirited Pascal and soon falls in love with him. Due to their ever closer relationship, she feels encouraged to break away from home and moves in with Pascal.
Shortly thereafter, Pascal is arrested as the main suspect in a series of brutal murders of young girls. Moll is interrogated by the police and gives Pascal an alibi for one of the nights of the murder, even though she was not with him at the time of the crime. Then Moll is torn as to whether or not she should take Pascal for a murderer. When confronted with Moll's thoughts, Pascal reveals violent sides of his character. When the police believe they have found a culprit shortly afterwards, Moll's fears seem to have vanished into thin air.
