Beate Breithaupt

Beate Anette Breithaupt (* 1958 in Stuttgart ) was Deputy Chairwoman of the Evangelical Youth Office in Württemberg from 1990 to 2007 , and Vice President of the European Federation of the YMCA ( Christian Association of Young People ) from 2000 to 2008 .

Life

Beate Breithaupt, who studied German studies , works as a freelance journalist .

Act

From 1984 to 2011, Beate Breithaupt was a member of the Ecumenical-International Work Committee of the Evangelical Youth Office in Württemberg, from 1991 to 2011 she was its chair. From 1987 to 2007 she was a member of the board of the Evangelical Youth Organization in Württemberg, and from 1990 to 2007 she was deputy chairwoman of the Evangelical Youth Organization in Württemberg. Since 2011 she has been the deputy chairwoman of the Wuerttemberg World Service Evangelical Youth Office.

From 2000 up to and including 2008 she was Vice President of the European Federation of the YMCA. She travels locally as well as internationally as a messenger of Christ. Since 1984 she has been responsible for the relationship between the EJW ( Evangelisches Jugendwerk Württemberg ) and the East Jerusalem YMCA . Through the cooperation with the EJW World Service and membership in the YMCA-General Association in Germany, the largest denominational youth association in Baden-Württemberg was able to establish close ties to the employees of the YMCA movement there, in addition to partnerships in Eastern Europe and Africa .
