Beatrice Eli

Beatrice Eli (born January 9, 1987 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish pop singer.

Life

Eli grew up in the Farsta district of Stockholm . At the age of 15 she started writing songs. She was ashamed of her first attempts at music but later started uploading music to Myspace . A British talent scout discovered her music, which led to the start of her career. In 2012 she released her first EP, It's Over . This first release resulted in a collaboration with producer Saska Becker and songwriter Daniel Lesinsky.

Her first album Die Another Day was released in 2014. The album is named after the film James Bond 007 - Die Another Day . On the day the album was released, she received the 25,000 crown scholarship of the Swedish umbrella association of music distributors ( Musikförläggarna ). In the same year she was the singer of the song Godhet by the rock band Kent on their album Tigerdrottningen .

Beatrice Eli is one of Sweden's most famous lesbian artists. She is in a relationship with the rapper Silvana Imam . The two work together artistically. Among other things, they performed together in Gothenburg in 2015 under the name Vierge Moderne , named after a poem by Edith Södergran .
