The Beckett Nunatak is a 1920 m high nunatak with snow-free flanks and a flattened summit in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 15 km west of Mount Armytage and south of the Harbord Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1964 after William T. Beckett (1929-2000), caretaker at McMurdo Station in 1963.
