Become One was a six-piece German pop band . It was put together in autumn 2003 as part of the Fame Academy casting show , which was broadcast on the RTL II television program from September 7th to November 30th, 2003 .

In the course of the program, the six musicians and dancers prevailed against ten colleagues. In the final show, the audience decided on the final composition of the band by means of a telephone vote. One day after the final gala, the band's first single, Don't Need Your Alibis, was released. The song was produced by Michael Kersting , who had previously enjoyed success with Sasha , Ben and Gracia Baur . Despite the low audience figures for the show, the title developed into a chart success in Germany and other German-speaking countries. But the band didn't stay together for long. After the release of their debut album and another less successful single, the six musicians performed on July 25, 2004 at a farewell concert in the Freizeit-Land Geiselwind and then announced their breakup.
