Ji-In Cho
Ji-In Cho (born December 30, 1976 in Leverkusen ) is a German musician of Korean descent. She became known as the singer of the metal band Krypteria and the pop band Become One , which was the result of the casting show Fame Academy .

Life
Ji-In Cho began taking piano lessons at the age of six . Later she studied Protestant theology at the University of Cologne and passed the state examination . This was followed by studies of music at the Cologne University of Music in the fields of piano and singing. From 1999 to 2003 she was a member of the cover band Jokebox .
In 2000, she participated in the first season of the casting show Popstars to no avail . In 2003 she participated in the casting show Fame Academy . For this show she recorded the Alanis-Morissette cover Ironic . As a result, she was a member of the Become One group with five other winners . After two singles and an album, the band split on July 25, 2004.
Already in 2003 Ji-In Cho got to know the guitarist Christoph Siemons and the drummer Michael "SC" Kuschnerus from the musical project Krypteria , who at the time produced the instrumental playbacks for the show for Fame Academy . At the beginning of 2005 they founded the rock band Krypteria together with bassist Frank Stumvoll .
In 2010, Ji-In Cho was named one of the 50 Most Important Koreans Abroad by Korean Newsweek .
In August 2012, Krypteria took a hiatus due to Ji-In Cho's pregnancy, which continues.
In 2016 Ji-In Cho founded the band And Then She Came together with her bandmates from Krypteria , the bassist Frank Stumvoll, the drummer SC Kuschnerus and the guitarist Olli Singer , which released their first album of the same name on June 24, 2016. The band describes their music as "modern rock".
