And Then She Came is a German rock band from Aachen that was founded in 2016. Without exception, it consists of musicians from the rock / symphonic metal band Krypteria .
history
While Krypteria had been inactive since 2012, bassist Frank Stumvoll was commissioned in 2015 to compose and produce a soundtrack for the German-American thriller Bad Trip . In order to fulfill the order, he got his companions from Krypteria, SC Kuschnerus (drums) and Olli Singer (guitar) to support this project. After Krypteria singer Ji-In Cho joined the project, the band "And Then She Came" was founded in 2016 and released their first album of the same name on June 24, 2016. The debut album with artwork by Dirk Rudolph includes guest appearances by Alissa White-Gluz ( Arch Enemy ) and Jen Majura ( Evanescence ). The band immediately received a contract with the major label Universal . According to the band, it is not a Krypteria successor band and the music style should differ from that of Krypteria. While Krypteria was in the field of "symphonic metal", And Then She Came describes her music as "modern rock".
The band played at their third concert on July 8, 2016 in front of 13,000 spectators at the Rockharz Open Air . On September 30, 2016 the band performed with Jen Majura in Aachen at the Alten Schlachthof Aachen ; a recording of this concert was released on December 6, 2016 on CD and DVD:
