Beeck was a court in the southeast of the Bergisch city ​​of Remscheid in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Beck , Becke , Beek are a Low German form of Bach .

Beeck was first mentioned in 1513 as Luynges Beck . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm as ad Bach. In the 18th century, the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen .

1815/16 lived 18 inhabitants in the place. In 1832, Beeck was part of the Altbergian rural community of Fünfzehnhöfe , which now belonged to the mayor's office of Wermelskirchen . Which according to the statistics and topography of the district of Dusseldorf as Ackergut designated place had at that time three houses and three agricultural buildings. At that time, 28 residents lived in the village, including one Catholic and 27 Protestant.
