The Beehive Mountain ( English for beehive mountain ) is a nearly 2134 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 8 km north of Finger Mountain on the northern edge of the head end of the Taylor Glacier .
Participants in the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904) gave him his name based on his external appearance at the suggestion of his discoverer, the deputy expedition leader Albert Armitage .
