Free Africa is a film collage by Martin Baer (1998).

In it he explores the question of what our current images of the "black continent" are based on. In over 500 excerpts from feature films, documentaries, reports, comics and advertising films, the film describes Germany's Africa policy from the Second World War to the present day and does not omit terrifying images of people from soldiers , journalists and development workers.
