Confessional in the Church of Barsac (photo by Jean-Auguste Brutails , around 1900)
The two confessionals in the church of St-Vincent in Barsac , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , were created in 1774. In 1908 the two baroque confessionals , one in the sacristy and the other in the church, were added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .
The wooden confessionals have carvings both at the top and in the door to the priest's area.
