The Beinn a 'Chleibh is a 916 meter high mountain in Scotland . Its Gaelic name means something like mountain of the basket or mountain of the chest . It is located in the southern highlands between the places Crianlarich and Dalmally on the border with Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and is classified as Munro . The height of the Beinn a 'Chleibh barely exceeds the minimum height of 3000 feet (equivalent to 914.4 m) for Munros. Only one of the total of 282 Munros, the Beinn Teallach , is 915 meters lower than the Beinn a 'Chleibh.
Due to its comparatively low height, Beinn a 'Chleibh is clearly dominated by the more massive Ben Lui to the east . It is connected to this by an approximately 1.5-kilometer-long ridge over a deeper saddle and, from the Ben Lui, looks like a small, grass-covered pre-summit without any particular independence. However, it drops with steep rock faces to the north and northeast into Glen Lochy . Most Munro excavators climb the Beinn a 'Chleibh as part of a tour of the Ben Lui, from which the slightest climb over the connecting ridge is possible.
